Crank no start

Asked by BigBrandon Jan 08, 2017 at 03:06 PM about the 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT Crew Cab LB

Question type: General

I have a 2000 Ford F250 with a 4.6 in it. Motor was
free. Use to have a 5.4... I have fuel to it spark to it.
Had it computer checked and nothing come up
bad. It will run for 3 seconds and die then just
cranks and won't even run on starter fluid. What
maybe wrong? And also checked all fuses and
relays I could find.

Was the computer reprogrammed for the change in engines? Also the security system may be active if the battery was disconnected and not backed up with a saver tool.
