I found a 98 SVT cobra with 149,000 miles and the person wants $4,000 obo. What is a good offer ?
it depends on the state the car is in, i would start low, and try to find a happy medium, if there are any problems, point them out, and tell the person that your going to have to get them fixed, and try to talk him down a little on the price. good luck
Thank you. What would be a good low price to start with ?
4000 is not a bad price unless there are serious flaws with the vehicle. if the body is in good condition and the engine / trans are in good condition, this is not a bad deal. if you show up and flash 3500 cash, he'll probably take you up on it. make sure you do it smart, tho. gettin jumped and goin' home w/o a ride would stink.
Andrew, drive it first. Trust me... I have an F150 that's a total loss because I didn't drive it before I bought it.
Thank you very much. I will most certainly test drive it before i make an offer.
