have a 2002 f350 heat ac fan only works on the 2 high settings not the 2 low settings
Your fan switch most likely has burned contact points on the 2 lower speed positions. It's not visible from the outside. I'm not sure how the arrangement of switches is on your HVAC system is, if each switch is it's own unit or if all switches are part of a larger unit. If each is it's own unit, then the fan switch itself should be replaced. If the switches are all on the same unit, then that unit needs to be replaced. This isn't uncommon, but it's also not a real common occurrence. I have a 97 C2500 Chevy pickup that had this happen to also, and I ended up replacing the entire assembly. It wasn't difficult. It's a plug and play arrangement. The panels weren't difficult to remove, and just a couple screws from the front removed the unit.. Hopefully your's isn't difficult eather.
thanks but i replased the resistor and that did it.
