My alternator dies so we replaced and it had not ran right since

as soon as we changed the alternator on my 2003 trailblazer it has not ran right. It is very
sluggish when taking off. and it is using alot more gas. the fumes of gas fill the entire car.
i have replaced so far c02 censer camshaft censer coil packs plugs cleaned the cat
converter and the carb any suggestions the thing ran fine before the new alternator????

Is alternater putting out 14 volts

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if it makes it any better

ok ill try that we did right after replacing the alt but have not since all the other things thank you

I TRIED DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY THAT DID NOT WORK.

Have you had your check engine light read?

yes all the codes were misfire codes and thats why the censors were changes but now there are no codes comming up but still running bad tries to unhood battery to reset the cpu but that did not work either

I just changed my alternator and I am having missfires now the day after. And it is very rough at idle. Any help?
