i have a 2003 chevy blazer trasmission slipping iy has 138000 miles is this normal

yes smell the fluid on the dip stick if it smells burnt you might have big problems ahead if not pull the pan replace the filter se if that helps when you pull the pan if you see any shavings or slime get it to a shop soon so the repairs dont cost you so much
