When I hit a bump in the road the transmission dis-engages....engine will not rev, but is running: I must but transmission in Neutral before engine and trans will engage

It is doing this after I stop or hit a bump in the road. Engine runs, but will not rev. Transmission not engaged......will kick in after I put in neutral

Sometime low fluid will cause this. Also check your shift linkage/soleniod.
