Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought a 2002 SLK 2002.  Cannot find why top will not work with local mechanic.  In a worse case senario what would repair cost and can it be fixed.  Cannot decide whether it would be best to return car.

more likely, one of 3 micro switches in the boot{£15 each} rather than a big fault
