When I touch the brake, the car won't accelerate. I have a habit with my left foot

Your telling the computer your braking so it’s going to lean out the fuel, it will require more gas pedal to over ride the brake on feature or retrain yourself to only use the right foot for braking. I use to do the same thing after driving stick shifts all my life than thrust into automatic transmissions my left foot had nothing to do.
