Asked by Jun 24, 2017 at 09:39 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I would stop at a stop sign my trucks rpm's
wld go up to 1-2000 & act like it was ganna go.
Now when I put my truck in drive it feels as though
it won't go into gear so I have to accelerate and let
off real quick to get it to go but I am able to drive it
in reverse & 2nd gear perfectly?

Sounds like the exact problem I had with on mine. Take a look at this....http://www.tbssowners.com/forums/4l70e-transmission- help/72876-top-30-common-4l60e-transmission-problems.html This chart pointed to my throttle position sensor which is integrated into the throttle body. Whole throttle body must be replaced. Fixed that problem for me.
