I CHANGED THE BATTERY ON MY C-280,THAT NOW CAUSED A NEW PROBLEM

EVERYTHING WORKS FINE,,BUT IWENT TO GET IT SMOGGED THE SECONDARY
EMISSON LIGHT ON THE TEST COMPUTOR STAYS RED / NOT READY / I NEED A
GREEN READY COLOR TO TEST AND PASS ,,DRIVE INFO,, OR ANY HELP                    
THERE IS A  -T.S.B.( S-B-14.00/17a  AT WORK HERE.

Well if your vehicle was in the category of a faulty wire harness then this could cause misread signals to not only the computer but to the machine doing the test. Also you may have to drive your car a number of times for your car to go into normal drive cycles. When you change your battery your vehicle has to kinda do a full computer scan to verify the working condition of all the sensors and functions are all functioning properly. You can see if you can get an your mechanic to get am OBDII reader to further diagnose this problem.
