bottom bolt om water pump replacement , best way to remove and procedure?
You are going to want to get your hands on a Chilton or Haynes manual. It will have diagrams and step by step instructions on how to replace your water pump.
Have a good look at the crankshaft pulley - some of these 117 engines have a cutout in the pulley so just rotate to match, or if yours doesn't, then remove the crankshaft pulley - it's not very hard - undo the belts, remove the 8 or 10 8mm bolts which hold the pulley on and slide the pulley off. Leave the centre bolt (27mm) well alone though!
The bottom bolt is just a few MM to long. All they needed to do is shorten it as I was able to get to it from behind, or make it available using the cut outs on the balancer. It seems to be planned rather then do it yourself friendly...PITA
