How do I change the oil on a 1991 Mercedes Benz e300 4matic?

Asked by Eva8605 Jan 02, 2015 at 03:22 PM about the 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300-Class 4 Dr 300E 4MATIC AWD Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had some low oil pressure issues but have added more oil. That isn't my concern
really, I am not to familiar with Mercedes and need to know where the oil plug (i think that
is what it is called) is and how exactly I go about draining out the old oil and what else may
need replaced

So you've got a straight 6 engine. Drain plug should be pretty evident in the oil pan once your under the car. 13mm ring spanner if I remember right, only thing you'll need to replace is the washer on the sump plug
