04 Chevy Malibu died on me

I was driving down the road all the sudden
speed started dropping then I gave it some
more gas it took a few seconds it's fed up
and then it didn't want to go no more and the
family it died but it cranks up but wont start
brand new battery brand new starter what
could it be?

Sounds as if you are not getting any fuel or the car is staving. You will need to check the pump pressure. Also when is the last time you gave her a full tune up?
