Starter

Asked by Jan 28, 2017 at 09:16 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Impala Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car won't start, for the last couple days every
time I try and start it, it dies.. I lose all power. I have
to get a jump and have someone hit the starter to
get it to start. It worked at first and now it's not, I've
been told it so many different things and don't know
what to get fix. Is it the starter or battery ??

Sounds like a bad positive (+) battery cable connection at the starter. HTH. -Jim
