Can I use P205/70R15 tires on a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier?

Asked by Aug 22, 2013 at 01:22 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought my Cavalier used and the tires are all beat up and even mismatching (all 14's but of random sets some 2 are P215, the other 2 vary). I do have a set of the 70R15's from my Lumina and I was wondering if they could be used in place of my current tires.

How much tread is on the the Lumina Tires?

The tires on the Lumina pass the penny test, so it still has a good amount of tread on them all.
