My 2004 Chevy  cavalier  has problems  shifting
gears,  it's a 5 speed.  Please  help

Have a look at your fluid level. Auto or manual?

Yes I have. Driving it, it's hard to shift into gears, but if I turn the car off, I can put it in all gears.
