Why does my headlights dim when I use my turn signals ?

When I turn the signal on the headlights dim when the turn signal is off the headlights
stay dim if I tape the signal switch sometimes it brights them but not always

You might have a headlight switch getting ready to go bad, a poor wire connection in the lighting circuit, bad headlight and park light ground pathway.

Thank you I thats very helpful I will change them switch and look at the connections and change the headlight bulds

I would not change the headlights as they are working, you are just getting a voltage drop when you use the combo switch.
