Tire low light was on, aired up all tires including spare. The metal valve cover on the spare was damaged, so I replaced it with a plastic one. Now the tire air light is back on and blinking.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Tire low light was on, I aired up all tires including the spare.  The metal valve cover on the spare was damaged, so I replaced it with a plastic one.  The light went out, but came back on and was blinking.  Now what could it be?

The blinking is saying sensor is bad in one of the tires. Tire shops do have a device that can tell which one is bad. Tire has to be removed from rim to replace sensors.

Have you had the tire pressure sensor looked at?
