Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a problem. I swapped out my old alternator which I
believe was rated at 100 amps. This new alternator is rated
at 130 amps. When I turn my truck on, it idles really rough
and the revs are super low to the point where the head
lights and fog lights flicker and the voltage at the battery
terminals read to about 11.5 volts when the engine is
running. If I spin the engine to about 1.5k revs it goes up to
about 13.3 volts. Do you think it's something on my
installation process? It's a new alternator so maybe there
was something I messed up on with the installation
process right? Hopefully it's an easy fix.
