High mileage

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm shopping for a Toyota Tacoma.  I've found a few
that body wise look in pristine condition but the
mileage is over or close to 300k. Should I consider
these trucks or not? Will we be able to drive them
for another 100k with proper maintenance ?

Maybe, maybe not. 300,000 is a lot of miles, I just looked up a re-manufactured engine and they go for $5000. One plus tho is I don't see hardly any questions on this sight on them. I would say to have it checked out before purchasing, see if it has a service record to see how it was taken care of and get it for a good price.

That truck would have to be very cheap to consider buying it. Yes it could go another 100,000 and you can also win the Mega-Lotto.
