Every vehicle has a certain economic cutoff point where it makes sense to repair it or move on to something else.

As KenF stated there is an economic cutoff point, but it is your rig and if it is in good shape and still runs good, then I would fix it, but if it tired and not in the best of shape, then it's time to move on.

Look to your left, 250,000 miles and still truckin!!! Toyotas will last a long time if taken care of. Great resale value. It just depends on what is actually wrong with your specific car.
