If it is slight clicking noise, could possibly be lifter tap, could be caused by low grade oil,low oil,and depending on mileage wear and tear.
But there are a lot of older tacoma,s and toyota,s that have produced over time a slight ticking sound, and as long as it dosn,t get louder, the yota will run a long time.
Thank you so much ! I think it is the old Toyota finally showing its age. Should I still run my truck by my mechanic to make sure ? Great answers and VERY fast ! Thanks
It would not hurt to have it checked, you are welcome.
