my 1994 toyota T100 speedometer and odometer are not working. where do i start?
The wise ass answer would be to start with a vehicle from the twenty first century. The serious answer would be to check the fuses.
Check the speedometer cable it sounds like it is broken or frozen.
it would only be the fuses if the ignition switch did not activate the dash when you turn the key. the speed/odo is completely mechanical in all the jap trucks i have owned and worked on. either the cable is broken or the plastic gears inside the unit have become dry of grease and something has broken inside the gearbox between the cable end and the guage like what happened to my 94t100 or if the guage does move but all around and holds in some high number when the wheels are barely turning like my 86 nissan did then its the guage only
