Well I know to replace a transmission with one that is for the car that needs a transmission replacement. You can make all kinds of new problems trying to make things work were they don't

I took my car to the mechanic because the gas was like absent and then it takes off real quick and then it like once to put out and they told they hooked it up and they said it was the Cadillac converter and then they fix the Cadillac converter and then said it was a sensor and then they fix the sensor and the car was still doing the same thing so they had told me that I had

A 2006 Transmission in my 2005 Chevy Impala and they still don't know what's wrong and I'm paid him $300 so I am just trying to figure out what is wrong with my car so I can fix it

It almost sounds like you have a problem with the drive by wire throttle body. Maybe you should not the billet and take it to the dealer or a better shop that has guys with some years under their belt. Sounds like the shop you have been going to is just guessing

Is your check engine light on? If so, have the computer scanned for trouble codes and post the codes here. Most auto parts stores will scan the computer for free. Let's start from there. HTH. -Jim
