i replaced all the ignition coils and plugs about 8 months ago & this week the ck. engine
light came back on and it runs rough intermittently, i swapped the coils around and it has
the same problem could this be the ecm failing

I would take the coils back and have them replace them. They should be warrantied.

Yup, I agree withTuff. The P1300 code is for a faulty igniter circuit on the number 1 coil. Hence the P0301 code (misfire cylinder #1). Check the wiring and connector going to the number 1 coil. If this checks out, replace the number 1 coil. HTH. -Jim
