Hi: I have a Toyota Previa 1991 , recently on left or right turn I started to hear a screeching noise . Initially I thought it was the rotors/brakes checked an there fine , any feedback ?
Are you turning the steering wheel until it stops when this happens? That engages the power steering bleed off valve and makes it harder to turn the pulley with the serpentine belt. Serpentine belt slipping at this point. Just don't hold it to the stop. But also it sounds like the serpentine belt needs to be changed along with a belt tensioner. The idler pulleys would need to be checked at the same time.
