my husband is having trouble with his 1993 SR5 Toyota pickup. he says idles great, starts great, has no upper end power, its electrical/gas/air flow/who knows what! he has put a new top end on it he says. any ideas?????????

If it's a 2WD that's common. I had one and my buddy has one. They are just dogs. Can't get out of their own way. Not like my old '79 2WD that had a carb. Plenty of speed at the top end.

I'd have him try cam/crank sensors before he starts with any major engine repair
