1990 Toyota Pickup won't start

Asked by Jun 11, 2017 at 02:06 AM about the 1990 Toyota Pickup 2 Dr STD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Running fine 2 days ago. Pulled into my garage. Tried starting a couple
hours later and nothing. Headlights, dome light, flashers and buzzer with
key in ignition all work. With key turned on, battery warning light shows and
nothing works. No turn signals, wipers, radio, or other warning lights. It has
a new battery and terminals. No clicking or trying to turn over. Nothing.
Help please. Thanks.

would be a ground connection from the battery to the chassis/frame....and to the motor block or accessories on the motor....make sure there is a solid connection...buy new cables if they are messed up~ the question I have, is have you replaced the timing chain at 80,000 miles? you might note the clinkin' on decel...time for service~

....also note the age of the battery...these tin/animony based automotive batteries will last about 7 years before they stop taking a recharge....get yourself a new battery....you might test the voltage and amperage..."load test" would probably KILL the old one~ get a new battery...seriously~
