Should I spend the money?
I have a 2004 Landcruiser with 72k miles on it. Yes, you read right. Due to age, it needs a
timing belt and everything that goes along with that. Estimates are around $1,500. Truck is
otherwise great, but ten years old. Do I put the money into it or sell it and lease something
If it was me I'd pay for the mantanince and drive for it another ten years.
If it runs good, yes, low mileage all so,it,s worth it.
Yes absolutely do it, but I would get a second opinion on that price, there are running around a grand out here, that is replacing the water pump, all idlers and tensioners and a free timing belt.
