Can I transfer my old ignition key and transponder from a broken key shell to a new shell for a 2003 toyota land cruiser?

The holder for the ignition key on my 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser is cracked.

As long as you have an existing master key, you can program the car to accept a new transponder key, the owner's manual has the procedure. So long as you are buying a new transponder key, may as well use it as intended rather than stripping it for parts.
