Highlander 2005 Eng Service light

I have a 2005 Highlander and of course the Maint Required light comes on every 5000
miles to remind me of the oil change, but I'm using synthetic oil it aloud you run your
engine with this oil more miles that regular oi.  So I reset the Maint Required light..  Does
anyone else do this too when using synthetic oil?  do you think it cause damage to the
engine?

I do the same thing in my Corolla. I use Mobil1 and change @8-9k miles and all is well
