after replacing the upfront oxygen sensor (error code 1135), the check engine light isn't going off and the error code is still 1135. Any ideas on what the problem is?

What kind of oxygen sensor did you use (Bosch, Denso, etc.)? I've read that Toyotas are fussy about which brand oxygen sensor can be used. If you're not using a genuine Toyota replacement oxygen sensor try a Denso. It's half the price and people seem to have good luck with them. HTH. -Jim
