Oil Leaks

Asked by Apr 05, 2007 at 08:30 AM about the 2002 Toyota Highlander Base V6 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had a maintenace service on my 02 Toyota Highlander. All of my fluids were changed out than I start to notice a leak on my garage floor. Took it to the dealership and they said it was oil problem wasted some where so they sprayed it off with some kind of solvent. The dealership told me if it reoccured to call them back. Well a couple of days later I notice it again. Need to know if anybody else is experincing this problem.

Dear nubian42-- I would say that the problem is not with your 2002 Toyota Highlander, but with the dealership who worked on it. If you were not having this problem before you had the service it means that they installed something wrong. Get them to 'fess up to it and solve this annoying problem. Don't be too tough on them, however. Even the best of us make minor mistakes sometimes. Good luck from Bovan.
