Could be zero point calibration of yaw rate sensor The yaw rate sensor feeds into the VSC, so if it isn't working, the VSC won't work and you'll get the "VSC / TRC" light. I would take it to local shop that has a scanner that can pull the code or to dealer if the local shop has a snapon versus scanner or something similar they can relearn it or find the Issue

Car off unscrew gas cap! Screw cap back on listen for first click so you know its on correctly! Open hood take off the positive battery cable wait up to 60 seconds ! Put back on Tighten post till snug be careful not to over tighten or use undue force! You dont want to break post off of battery! Start car up and see if it worked! Gas system is a closed sealed system if it leaks it will turn on VSC etc. On dash ! If it didnt work you need an OBD scan tool to hook up to your computer in car! Go to AUTOZONE they will loan you one and show you how to operate it for FREE! Once you have codes now you can either tackle it yourself or go to your shop and tell them what you discovered!
