Do you hear a squeal when you first start? If so have the battery tested it might not pass the load test and that will put the charging system in full output putting a higher than normal load on the belt and as it is a small belt it won't take much to over stress it and it breaks. I had an Acura that did the same thing and it was the battery, it barely passed the load test, after I replaced the battery it no longer broke the alt belt.

some time alternator bearing stuck up that belt possible to break.so u can check alternator freely turning or not.,
