how can i tell if the ac has been redone for 134a and if it's still using r12 is there a link with video's on how to check for this and procedures for changing it over process..

If the system has been converted the service port fittings would have been changed. R12 and R134a service ports are different. This is done on purpose so the wrong refrigerant can't be added. R12 service ports are threaded.R134a sservice ports are not. HTH. -Jim

R134 low side is larger for 134 then. R12 Take a can with hose 134 see if it fits a if not r12
