2004 Corolla S no fan or AC
2004 Corolla S: Recap of how the AC and blower work. The AC light only lights up if the blower is on. If you turn the blower off, the LED and compressor turn off.
I can be driving and suddenly no blower fan on any speed and the LED A/C light goes out. The other lights still work for cabin recirculation and rear defrost. It may go out for a moment or for two days, then works fine for a while. I checked the fuses and relays, all fine. When I move the fan switch to on and off, I can hear clicking by the blower.
I am thinking blower resistor or fan switch. However, would either of these also turn off the compressor and AC LED?
Thanks to all who read this post! Intermittent problem difficult to diagnose.
