Question type: Maintenance & Repair

problem indicator lights on panel recently started flickering and when they did the dome light would come on and quickly go off. this vehicle only has 104,000 miles on it but i am beginning to think that the previous owner just didnt drive it as much as we normally do and it stayed garaged and now i al driving it a lot and problems are beginning to appear..what are your thoughts on the electrical problems or is it something else

did you try adjusting the dash light dimmer switch? Sounds like your problem is in that switch.

Good suggestion. I will try that. The some light was coming on and off by itself and at the same time the check for problems light kept flashing. I just replaced the dash lights a week ago so I am thinking a short somewhere.
