car shakes will sitting in idle

car runs beautifully, but when sitting in traffic cars is shaking so much it can be seen and felt in the steering wheel

Excessive vibration at a stop and idling and not when moving is a clear indication that your motor mount/mounts have failed. Replace both if one is bad and check the trans mount as well.

Just a second opinion, As always Tom, good call. Your 1994 DX has a 1.8Liter 7A FE, you need to know that to order the mounts. If you have it done at a shop or dealer demand the old mounts back to prove they actually did replace all of them and not put only on one
