the battery llight on my 93 corolla came out -car is still driving?

a week ago my battery light started flicking and stay on after around 4 miles
of driving at the same time i can smell a slight burnt  thru the vent-
i have the battery and alternator checked @ NAPA/auto parts the thecnicien
said both the battery and the Alternator are good-
please help!

Next I would check is the serpentine belt and all the pulleys, sounds like that is your smell. One of the pulleys is probably frozen causing the belt to slip over the top and start to burn. Then slowing the alternator pulley down till you get the light to flash.
