Asked by Dec 15, 2007 at 07:07 PM about the 1992 Toyota Corolla STD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have never done any repair work on a car other than change a battery.  I would like to change my starter but don't know where it is at.

i am asuming 4 cylender, jack up car, front use jack stands,or use ramps to pull car on set e-break unhook battery under car look up to left will see starter remove 2 or 3 bolts pull starter out unhook wires,if more than one tape together dont forget how they came off, reconnect wires to new starter, put back in ,may have to wiggle a bit but will go replace bolts and tighten rehook battery, job done.
