1991 corolla

Asked by May 07, 2016 at 10:36 PM about the 1991 Toyota Corolla DX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My mother in law has a 91 corolla that recently
drives about 5 to 10 miles. Then starts to sputter
as though it is running out of gas. Once this starts
it tends to die and need to sit for a few hours
before starting up and repeating the same
process. Any suggestions.......thank you

Sounds like it needs some maintenance. Check the ignition components and replace, clean the throttle body, change out the filters and fluids, and check for vacuum leaks.
