Replacing battery terminals due to so much corrosion

I have a 1990 Toyota Corolla 132000 on
her light very light rust it's so
appreciative to see someone took car of
the car man paid $900 but I'm having a
problem the battery and terminals didn't
get much attention when previous
owner parked it from being daily and
terminals got so corroded the positive
(red) terminal with no longer tighten can
someone tell me why there's all that
extra wiring with just the positive almost
looks like a little fuze box on it with 3 big
fuzes please helppp sorry don't have a
pic under hood!

I don't remember that particular Corolla having such a complex positive battery terminal. The additional wiring may have been placed to feed power directly to some car components. In any case, if you replace the terminals, be careful to remove each wire and reattach it in sequence. I am afraid they are there for a purpose. Can you ask the person who sold you the car if he knows anything about it?

I think I found the part that you are talking about. Google 1990 Toyota Corolla battery fuse box. You'll see it there, instructions to remove it, where to buy it. Hope this helps.

This is it it looks old so I def thought it was original but I will look into that now
