It all depends on who is going to buy the car when you/someone is/are done with it. Most cars that I see with action/performance packages, most of these cars have had the crap driven out of them. get the car checked out really good. a compression check never hurt. spending a little now might just save you some big money down the road. If you can get a waranty with the car I would recommend it. Hope this helps, best of luck.
