Can i replace my 2001 celica engine with a 2000 corolla engine and every thing line up correctly

Only if the engines are the same. The Celica GTS engine is different. If both are 1ZZ-FE engines the swap will work.

Technically he can use a 2zz in his gt without changing anything but the ECU. since Corollas didn't come with the 2ZZ (in the US), he has nothing to worry about. and yes, the wiring harnesses are the same. just drop your new motor on the tranny and you're back at the races.
