1995 St204 celica starts, dies and wont start again

Asked by Nigel_Thornberry Jan 29, 2017 at 07:45 PM about the 1995 Toyota Celica ST Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi all, My 1995 Celica St204 will start, then immediately die regardless of
what i do with the throttle. Then unless i take the key to the off position it
wont start again. I have tried jumping power to the fuel pump but no luck.
Any ideas or tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Nigel

Our 1995 Celica would start and run then randomly die. Sometimes restart right away, others times crank but no start. Replaced the engine computer to fix it.
