I have a 2005 Chevy cobalt, it is idleing low and when I stop or slow down it dies on me

Battery or alternator. if you get the battery light on the dash is the alternator if not is the battery.

you can also try cleaning the throttle body and mass airflow sensor...the throttle body gets gummed up alot on these engines
