heating issue

Ok so i have a 1990 Toyota Celica 2.2 L auto I'm
not getting any heat. I bought the car as it was so
the hvac valve has been bypassed engine runs at
good temp doesn't overheat but no heat . Heater
core doesn't leak . Could be stocked up witch ima
flush out but can anyone answer why there's no
heat at all ?

Could it be as simple as the valve has been bypassed?
