i have toyota camry 2.4,2005 LE and i have a problem in my transmission automatic, the last gear is late in shifting the other gears are normal, what should i do.
Unfortunately there are no easy fixes when it comes to bad tranny problems. If it's full of fluid and not filthy dirty, then the only fix is a transmission shop. Does your year Camry have the little overdrive button on the side of the shifter? The button may be in the out position which will effect how it shifts. If your speedometer, or tachometer are not working properly, that will cause your car to shift poorly. If all is well with your instruments, your best bet would be to take it to the dealer and have them hook it up to their computer. Something may not be sending a signal to your ECU which could also cause poor shifting. Would hate to have someone take advantage and put in a new transmission only the have the same problem.......good luck!
