Did you perhaps try your spare key? Do you still have the Original Key? The Owner's Manual may have a procedure for "registering" an after market key. When you "jumped car off"...did you have any problems with the procedure? You may have a blown fuse.

What I continue to be puzzled about is ...correct me if I am wrong....this vehicle started....cranked over and fired up...and ran fine with an "after market key". Then the battery went dead ...the vehicle was properly Jump Started....it Cranked and fired up...and ran. Then failed to restart...Now the vehicle ...has a .NO CRANK condition Is this correct?

I'm still having the same problem. im thinking maybe I can buy a used computer from ebay and it will work.

"Ebay"....you might consider asking if that Ebay Computer will need new keys which will have to be programed to that replacement computer. Locksmiths these days have the equipment to perform this process. Try walking into a LS store and explain this story. He might be able to help.

thanks but I spoke to a LS and he told me he can flash the computer and make three new keys for it. as long as I send the old computer and key but I hope this fix the problem

OK...I see no other options. Good Luck.

BTW...just one other thought. You might just try ONE more Jump Start just to make sure the Battery did not go dead again.GL

Sounds like you made a good choice compared to that $1200 deal from the Dealership. Let us know if everything works out well.

if you have not changed your battery, then you need to change it, the battery is dying.
